Nine Inch Nails

We read a story called Two Little Goldfish and it had lots of past tense in it.  We looked at all of the words and made a list of the present and past tense words.  Then we made a keynote showing some of them.

We visited Willard Home this week and had an excellent time.  Room 9 you behaved extremely well.  You were empathetic and conscientious of the people you were interacting with – well done!  It was a special time enjoyed by all.

The Manawatu Digi Awards is a student e-learning competition for schools throughout Palmerston North. Last year Russell Street school won 5 awards and we attended an awards evening at the Regent theatre.  When we talked about it in class many of you had said that you had organised something to submit for the digi awards.

It’s on again this year! There is plenty of scope for the types of entries – you want to check out the categories just click on the picture below!

Welcome back everyone – I trust you had a revitalising break and you’re ready and raring to get back into it!  Well firstly we needed to remind ourselves of the rules that will respect our rights; to learn, to feel safe and to be respected.

Kia ora te whanau, today we extended our lesson on rights and responsibilities and began planning videos which will show how people can respect each others rights; to learn, to feel safe and to be respected.  We have come up with a number of scenarios and am impressed at how it is all coming together – watch this space!
