Manawatu Digi-Awards 2012
The Manawatu Digi Awards is a student e-learning competition for schools throughout Palmerston North. Last year Russell Street school won 5 awards and we attended an awards evening at the Regent theatre. When we talked about it in class many of you had said that you had organised something to submit for the digi awards.
It’s on again this year! There is plenty of scope for the types of entries – you want to check out the categories just click on the picture below!

Here is a great ANZAC Website I found on the insandouts blog that you could have a look at before we get back to school. It has some amazing stories of what actually happened on that fateful day. My favourite part is the ANZAC Landing in 3D. What are some of your ANZAC stories?

Rights and Responsibilities
Kia ora te whanau, today we extended our lesson on rights and responsibilities and began planning videos which will show how people can respect each others rights; to learn, to feel safe and to be respected. We have come up with a number of scenarios and am impressed at how it is all coming together – watch this space!
