Tawhara’s Homework

Hi Nic i made my pavlova today it was interesting. It was fun measuring everything but the blender broke then the handle of the whisk broke and the pav looked like a pancake. that’s why the photo of it is already in the bowel. But it still tasted like a pavlova – YUCK!!!

Homefun Riddle

Last week for homefun I gave you this riddle:

1. There are 5 houses in 5 different colours.
2. In each house there lives a person with a different nationality.
3. Each person drinks a different type of beverage, eats a different type of meat and keeps a different pet.
4. None of the persons have the same pet, eat the same type of meat or drink the same beverage.

The question is: Who owns the fish?

Hints:
The Brit lives in the red house.
The Swede owns a dog.
The Dane drinks tea.
The green house is on the left of the white house.
The green house’s owner drinks coffee.
The person who eats fish keeps birds.
The owner of the yellow house eats lamb.
The person living in the centre house drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The person who eats chicken lives next to the person who owns a cat
The person who keeps horses lives next-door to the person who eats lamb.
The person that eats beef drinks beer.
The German eats venison.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
The person that eats chicken has a neighbour who drinks water.

It’s a really good brain bender!  Congratulations to all who solved it :)
