Lighthouse Interviews
As part of our Loving Literacy program, we pretended to interview the first ever lighthouse keeper. We were trying to get into the character of either the ‘interviewer’ or the ‘interviewee’. This is Saffron and Amy’s awesome interview:
“Last week we had to do a interview about a lighthouse keeper. We learn one person was the interviewer and one person is the interviewee .
click to here to hear our interview with the first lighthouse keeper. Hi I’m Saffron and I’m here with breaking news about the first lighthouse keeper so I have some questions for you…”

Dear Tek2011
We are doing the blogging challenge and your class is just above ours. We listened to the interview and were impressed. Connor says he knows of the lighthouse mentioned, it has been destroyed by a earthquake he thinks. Daniel says it was once one of the ancient wonders of the world. We haven’t tried vocaroo but now some of us will probably.
We are wondering how many lighthouses are in New Zealand. We also wonder how a person would want the job of being a lighthouse keeper.
